The following will provide you with instructions for how to gain access to e-books and various database materials from your home computer or smart phone.  Please check it out.

A word from the Leon Public Library…

Your family can access thousands of books, audiobooks, magazines, and videos through our e-book service, Bridges.

This can happen in a couple ways:

*On a desktop computer or laptop:

                *Visit our library website at www.leon.ia.us

                *Click on the BRIDGES icon on the upper lefthand side

                *Select ‘Leon Public Library’ from the drop down screen

                *Enter your 14-digit library card number to begin browsing

*On a smartphone or tablet:

                *Download the OVERDRIVE app

                *Once in the app, select ‘Leon Public Library’ from the drop down screen

                *Enter your 14-digit library card number to begin browsing

A lot of great at-home learning can also take place on our

GALE database.

                *Click on the ‘GALE Pages Iowa’ icon on the upper righthand side

*KIDS INFOBITS is an educational and fun place to start learning.  There are thousands of interesting, credible articles, videos, and images for children to explore.

Not sure if you a have a library account or lost your card?  Call the library at 641 446 6332 during our open hours, and we will be happy to search for your number or set up a new account.

Monday: 12:30-7:30

Tuesday & Thursday: 10:30-5:30

Wednesday & Friday: 12:30-5:30

Saturday: 10:30-1:30
